This page describes, plainly, what this website collects and what it does not. It is written to be
accurate rather than comprehensive, and it is not legal advice.
What we collect
Analytics (Google Analytics 4). If you accept cookies, we record anonymous usage
statistics: which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, and what kind of
device was used. This is not linked to your name or email.
Anything you type into a form. If you submit an email address to receive updates
about a tracker or product, we store that email, the product you asked about, and the time you asked.
That is the whole record.
Standard web server logs. Like every website, our server records the IP address and
browser type of each request. These rotate automatically and are used for security and debugging.
What we do not collect
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
We do not send your name, email, or phone number to advertising platforms.
We do not track which specific layoff notice, company, or record you looked at and attach it to you.
We do not use advertising cookies unless you accept them, and none are currently active.
Cookies and your choice
When you first visit, you are asked whether to allow analytics cookies. Nothing analytical
loads until you choose. If you decline, the site works normally and no analytics cookie is set.
You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
If advertising measurement is ever added, it will be covered by the same
consent choice — it will not load unless you have accepted — and this page will be updated to name it
before it goes live.
Email you give us
If you give us an email address, we use it only to send what you asked for. We do not add you to
unrelated mailing lists. Ask us to delete it and we will.
