When a local plan needs a refreshed look at the labour market, somebody has to assemble county numbers, find the layoff filings and write down where each one came from. This is that assembly, already done, as a PDF you can hand to a reviewer and a CSV that reconciles to it.
The free sample is a complete, unredacted pack for a real county — same layout, same method page, same content hash. Download the sample pack (PDF) and the matching CSV.
We hold county-level signal data for 3,221 counties and county-equivalents: all but one of the 3,144 in the 50 states and DC, plus all 78 Puerto Rico municipios. The island territories are not covered. We previously told visitors we held only about 50 counties per state. That was wrong, and it was our fault: the coverage check was reading two functions that each return only the 50 highest-scoring counties and then intersecting them — a limit on how much data one API customer may pull, not a statement about what we hold. We found it on 20 October 2026 and fixed it the same day. Use the free check below; it reads what we hold, county by county. Connecticut is the known gap: our data uses the nine planning regions rather than the old county names, so a Connecticut search will say "not covered" — email us for those.
The check is free and reads the real data. Use it to confirm we have your county before the product reopens.
One area, one dated pack, PDF + CSV. This is a launch price — we did not find three like-for-like public prices for this exact thing to compare against, so we set one and are saying so rather than calling it a market rate.
This product is being finished and is not yet available. We have taken the card and invoice options off this page on purpose, because the delivery step is not built yet and we will not take money for something we cannot hand over. Contact carey@kcalbin.com if you want to be told when it is ready.
Delivery is the part we are still building, and it is why this product is closed. The plan is a page that shows signed download links for your own pack, with no files sent by email. We would rather say that plainly than take an order we cannot fill.
