EDD publishes a spreadsheet covering the current fiscal year. That is enough to see what was filed this week and very little else. These pages are built to answer the questions that actually arise in practice.
State files split one employer across every building and store it operates. Kcalbin resolves those into a single employer, so a filing history is visible rather than scattered.
Each county page carries its own BLS unemployment rate and twelve-month range next to the filing count, so a closure can be read against the local labour market.
Notices issued on or after 1 January 2026 carry the amended Cal-WARN disclosure requirements. Those filings are isolated and counted.

Nothing here is modelled or projected — every figure traces to a public filing or to BLS. Where coverage is thin, the page says so.
